Kids

We love kids!  We believe that children have an important role in God’s kingdom.

It is our goal to raise our children with an intimate and experiential knowledge of Jesus.

What does kids ministry look like at New Day?

At present we offer kids ministry for children ages 6 months to 11 years during the Sunday morning service.

Children ages 6 months through 4 years

Little ones in this age range are nurtured in  a safe, loving and fun environment.   The facility at the YMCA at The Ponds is amazing!

Kids ages 4 through 7 years

Kids in this age group experience spirit lead worship, relevant bible teaching and some serious fun!  At present we are using  a curriculum produced “in house” by Stephanie Jones.  It is a kids ministry resource that goes along with “The Upside-Down Kingdom”.

Kids 8 through 11 years

Kids in this age group remain in the adult service during worship.  After worship they are dismissed for an age-appropriate lesson and some good fun!

Youth ministry begins at age 12 and takes place on Sunday evenings.  Kids in this age group are welcome to join their parents in the service on Sunday mornings.
